Back To Those Hills

When I am sad When I am angry When my day has been bad Or when I am happy I lay my head on my window sill Let the time stop still And go back to those hills They are my shelter It's where my heart takes cover From all the world's wrongs It's where my heart will go forever Whenever I need protection I can't forget those trees They have stood for so many years, those trees They know so much They have been there for centuries And will still be there for generations to come I always loved that river Like a snake it would slither Silently and gracefully I'd always sit there and watch the water And it will always be part of me But who can forget the open sky So blue and so high The sky I'll always want to touch The sky that makes me want to fly That sky is mine Oh those hills Those wonderful hills Where peace and serenity roam free Those majestic, wise hills Where my heart will always be.
