I want to be something great, something special;
It seems whatever I could achieve would never be enough,
And anything enough is way beyond my grasp
I want so much that I know I will surely fail
And so I ask for nothing
Nothing except for this burden to be lifted,
For the crushing expectations to scatter,
For me to find something that really matters
Instead of maintaining this façade of sincerity while I lack direction and clarity
And feel lost, but worse than that –
Mediocre.
