Back In Time
Lets go back to a time
when
The only thing that got you high
was your father’s shoulders
your worst fall
was a foot high
the only woman in your life
was your mother
and your worst enemy
was coughing syrup
a time when
not doing your homework
was your worst sin
having a burden meant
next week’s physics exam
when a broken heart
was glued back
when hopes were
the new game on the market
when you were
the person you never wanted to turn into ..
