Back Bone Not Wish Bone

We need back bone
not wish bone to stand
the test of time. Now's
the time to make a start,
don't be left behind.

Don't look to the left
Nor to the right, look
Straight ahead. Jesus
didn't have a wish bone,
When he multiplied the bread.

Look way over yonder, what
do you see. Things we need
for certain, don't come so easily,
Perseverence, determination to
The end. It takes you to make
The journey, right to the very end.

Weeping may endure for a night,
Peace, and joy are on their way,
back bone, not wish bone, lord help
me i pray.
