Back
We meet---
Life instantly colorful and bright.
Before it felt black and white.
In love--comes strong;
Loved you all along.
My past at times sneaks in
As if it's here now.
You bring me back.
You always know how.
When I take things to heart
A wisdom you impart.
I bring myself back.
When I believe I'm not good enough
Or, life gets tough
You have my back.
When we are out of sink
You remind me of our binding link.
We joyfully think back.
Our trust always comes through.
Even when I don't like what you do,
I always stand by you.
You say, what I bring to you
Is cherished too...
I always have and will, love you back.
