Baby's First Eviction
I’ve been amazed by the cycle of life
To sit in the womb and observe would be nice
I wish I could shrink so very small
That the eye couldn’t see
I would climb through a mother’s lifeline door
And watch her newborn and keep it company
Before, the doctor could detect
I would already know the sex
I would frolic in the bag of jelly
I would make baby feel comfy and cozy
Oh, what a miracle inside the belly
I could never take the place of God
Whatever, baby may be is his job
But curious as I am there’s no deception
I would’ve loved to be there at the moment of
conception . I would arrange the DNA
To reach the highest peaks of perfection
Then, I would iron each pair of genes
Next, I would have a white glove inspection
I would play musical chairs with the chromosomes
Each and every night
When time is nigh, and I’m satisfied
Then baby is ready for flight
I will stand behind with my foot
I would give a kick so swift and quick
To make sure everything came out alright
I sincerely hope I don’t sound mean
It’s only a daydream
To raise suspicion is not my mission
But, if baby is fully grown, and he can breathe on his
own I may start to like his home and claim it as my own
Why not give baby his first eviction?
