Baby Lu

Well if ya seen the budgery fella, (budgery=good)
 wid the bottle er rum,
sitting back sucking on it some ,
you'd be having a good time,

Baby Lu, wants love for you ,
an happiness sometime,
you certainly have the poet in ya hide,
Lucinda light of poetry,
but what would i bloody know,
i aint no blessed notary,

but want you here,
on the soup my dear,
to keep me battery charging,
if me brain gets any smaller,
it might need some sweet enlarging..

put it on soup hey ....baby Lu

well, I'll put you on some tater (potato) soup and recite how courageous, brave, silly and witty you are all the while it cooks, I will serve it to you and your friends and later intently listen to your stories and tales amidst the glow of the moon, while you drink rum, rum, rum.... (Dad had a rum story Navy but I didn't like it much.) I enjoy you and ALL your verses, you saved me, really you did Don, thankin you again. (Oh, the silly girls heart, and the good Christian man?) Much love, Lu
