I know every note
every chord to every line
I know the words
to every lyric that you write

I know the way
that this love should feel
I know your kiss
and what you don't reveal

I know the time
that I spend with you
I know it's to short
nothing we can do

I know goodbye
is about to come
I know heartache
what was not begun
