Notes About The Poem

Baby In Blue

All in blue, the new baby sleeps. Just born a few hours ago! Oh,how his mother loves him. She snuggles him close to her. God's perfection shines in him! Mother feels his oh,so tender, warm, angelic skin. She allows a tear to waltz down her lovely face. This is her moment of heaven on earth, beauty and grace. His eyelashes soft and long, like a doe The two of them,a portrait bonded, Because God deemed it so! 3/1/2023 Dedicated to Elena and Eddie

How very beautiful dear Pangie . The moments you have described are sacred … the miracle of birth is one of the biggest joys in life . Truly nothing can compare . I love the tear waltzing down her cheek . Wonderful tribute to Elena and Eddie . A gift from your heart . Big hugs, Susan :)

Thanks Jo! It’s almost like being in heaven, isn’t it? Birth no longer seems a joy but something we avoid in a world where we decided we are going to decide wo lives or dies, we are in charge of peace, and we will control the universe. There’s a word for that.. CRACKED, Pangie xo

Stephan, the third man to respond. Amazing. I an moved to see males respond. Seeing my daughter Elena holding baby Eddie was moving. I have seen men week years after their wives or girlfiends had abortion. It gave me a new view of men. As you know Eddie studies the Bible 20 minutes each day.he decided to do that on his own. Dear friend, Bob~ I so remember those glorious days Mom was working and I got to feed him change diapers. He was my second chance at being a Mom all over. You know about those things because you have children, too. It’s a divine glory, don’t you think? His Dad’s birthday was yesterday, he and his Dad are very close as well. Both parents raised a son who is a believer,an honor student and will carve out a good future for his own family, one day and be a credit to the United States of America. Thank you, Pangie
