Baby Girl Lost

So many times in life, I've found myself blind; Always hiding in plain sight, And falling forever behind. I try to seek my way, But true self evades, Deep inside me lies A youth that never fades. She crawls forever Within the maze of thought; Steeling herself from pain And torture others have wrought. Her eyes are forever closed Until her heart melts off the frost And someone comes to aide The little baby girl lost.
