Baby Girl
Did you ever know that you are the most beautiful soul I have ever known,
And have the most beautiful hair ever grown.
Did you know I love your smile,
And that it makes my life worthwhile.
Did you know I love the sound of your voice,
Did you know when it comes to loving you I never had a choice.
Did you know you were created especially for me,
Did you know your laugh fills me glee.
Did you know you are my everything,
The thing in which makes my heart sing.
Did you know I love to watch you sleep,
And if I could choose one thing to hold close to my heart you are the one thing I would keep.
Did you know I loved you before you were born,
And that every time you frown, I mourn.
Did you know I will love you more than any other,
Did you know as far as daughters go I would except no other.
Did you know being in your life gives me pleasure,
And that to me , your every breath is a treasure.
Did you know I am the proudest mother there could ever be,
All because God gifted you to me.
Did you know I thank God everyday that you are my girl,
Because when He gave me you, He gave me the world!
