Baby Girl

Hannah

Beautiful like the stars above,
Created by God, mastered with love.
As angels watch over her every move,
Dancing and swaying to a musical groove.

Born on a delightful day in September,
Oh what a day I will always remember.
I waited patiently to hear your little cry,
When I didn't, I just wanted to die.

Then I looked at you and you were stretching,
Now you are grown and absolutely fetching.
You’re getting ready to spread your wings and fly,
In a world bigger than the bright blue sky.

No matter where you go in life, I will always be near,
And if you shall ever need me, I’ll be right here.
Whatever life brings us, there’s one thing I can say,
You are my daughter, my love, my heart, my world Hannah Mae.
