Baby Dreams

Baby closes his eyes He's ready for a sleep, Mama closes the door Trying not to make a peep. He slowly drifts off To dreamland he goes, Dreaming about that same day When daddy tickled his toes. He remembers being outside 'Neath the sky so blue, Crawling across the grass Getting wet from morning dew. Butterflies fluttered around The baby's tiny head, He had a long day Now, he sleeps, in his bed. Copyright Cynthia Jones Nov.18/2007
