Babs the Bear
It is not every giant bear who gets a butterfly shower.
But Babs was unusual, tall as a tower.
He had a gentle heart, and the butterflies knew
He would take care of them, as they sprinkled and flew.
He is a gentle giant, the monarchs said.
The Luna moths agreed, “he has a considerate head”.
Babs was an unusual bear, who loved flowers and butterflies.
In the animal kingdom, others recognized this as being wise.
