Awkward Silence

There's no real answer, when there's no words to say. It's a moment in awkward silence, at times I like it that way. It's a tension in the air that can cause me a little pain. Yet that really dosen't bother me, I like it just the same. It can try to keep me in check, try to put me under it's thumb. Many times it's tried to catch me but I'm always on the run. At times it like to scare, especially when I need my mind to be clear. It's a shock when I see it looking at me, standing in front of the mirror. My awkward silence, Has always got my back. Yet when I need to calm myself down, It's rolling heavy on the tracks. My awkward silence I hold so near, It always backs me up in times where I can't show fear. My awkward silence I never can figure out. When I'm the angel it's the devil, and it's silent when I need to shout. It's always there with a question, when I can't find the answer. In life when all is perfect, it shows up to be the cancer. At times it brings me up, when I know Ifeeling down. Seems to hand me out idea's when no other's can be found. In life it's my little bit of dark, and my little bit of light. It can be that feeling of falling, when I'm about to sleep at night. There's no explanation of why it's there in life. I can do nothing about my awkward silence, but's it's right there by my side.
