Awkward Lies

Bald man on the TV
Lower your soundless voice please!
Unscrew your mind to him my friend
For it seems they come in peace...

Here is your world, your managed little lives
Put up your walls and dodge your awkward lies.
Look at this mess, you're given this test
To fight for what you believe, what you "want this to be"

I"m just killing time
watching the tube, i'm just fine
And once again I kill this light - I go to bed
I hate my life.
I can't dream of this anymore
I know I won't because I didn't before
Dodge your lie, live your life

Here is your world, your managed little lives
put up your walls and doge your awkward lies
Look at this mess, you're given our test
To fight for sweet relief and what you want it to mean.
