Awestruck

.    Reef                                                        Trip
.     plans                                                    made
.       flight                                                 delayed
.     carpark                                             cluttered
.            boat                                          rocking
.          seasick                                     pills
.            wetsuit                                  too tight
.             weights                               buckled
.                   mask                           fogging
.                  snorkel                       tested
.                  dive-fins                   fitted
.                   splash in                backwards 
.                         current            tugging
.                          breaths       struggling
.                        duck dive    descending
.                            AWESTRUCK
.                        heartbeat    paused
.                            corals       blooming
.                   anemones           swaying
.                  parrotfish               grazing
.                     turtles                   gliding
.             sunbeams                       streaming
.               bubbles                           laughing
.             escapes                              from nose
.           muscles                                  straining
.            out of                                       breath
.        surface                                          beckons
. ascending                                              gleefully
.   dreams                                                   fulfilled

I finally did hear my song the way you told me to. When I have lots of free time, I will experiment with it and then try to put it at my actual poem. I liked ballad for my poem, but I want to hear it sung different ways. Thanks again! John Anderson June 30, 2026 at 12:15 PM Glad you heard it. The sono thingo does all the work interpreting the song layout and adding frilly bits. The style is simply 'folk ballad'. The 'style' box is very obscure but it accepts your input such as 'emotional' . I'm lazy and I usually simply use 'piano recital' which keeps the rendition simple - most are poems => sung - not songs as such. Hearing poems voiced, or sung, adds another dimension. I believe ancient poems where spoken not read. Cheers and All the Best => I loved the song and written version of your fabulous poem!
