Away With Me

Autumn rain impass
breaking heart of glass

languid disturbance
outside sin fans into a dance

inside breaking
outside forsaking

peaceful rest for the dead
or painful unending instead

turn away and shun this life
after the taking of my sweet wife

she was never mine
but for a time
she was mine in innocent rhyme
