Away It Goes

Away it goes
                                                   to the floor it falls.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                  we can't fix its flaws.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                  down to the ground.
                                                       Away it goes
                                                  with barely a sound.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                   my memories too.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                the home I once knew.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                   just say goodnight.

                                                       Away it goes
                                                one last word goodbye.
