Notes About The Poem

Away In a Forest

AWAY IN. A FOREST

         Away in a forest
         No path to walk free.
         Pushing bushes trying best.
Fine ! You are with me.

          To explore wild Nature
          We too loiter.
          Both running in rapture,
          though hard to enter.

           Excited in journey.
           Feral fragrance flows.
           Please hold my hand,'Honey !'
           Come beside. Come close.

           Pathless wood to venture .
           Thorns prick, I don't care.
Your love I’m to capture .
           Joy-grief, we will share.

            Away in a forest
            No Fear to allow.
            Partner:You the fittest.
            Life long to follow.

Nicely penned Anisha, unfortunately i had to doc some points as the rhyme and syllable count were a little adrift. Many congrats on your top placement and thanks for taking time to enter the contest:-) hugs Jan xx
