Away

My heart yearns for you
Like air to breathe 
Or as lovers do
Need only each other 

Tortuous time away
Hearts ache so deep
A heavy price to pay
To build our future life

Though one more sleep
One more morning’s light
For your arms to keep
Me warm in your embrace
