Awakened To Happiness

You’ve snatched me from my daily sleep
As wide awake, I’m yours to keep
Within this world, we two shall hide
But, shhh, we cannot make a peep

For others will soon want the same
I mean really then, could you blame
But, we can’t let them in our world
I won’t share this new found flame

Smile, oh dear one, t’is but our time
What we have now, shan’t be a crime
The smiles we have are ours to keep
As feelings felt are true, sublime

Very elegant and hehe so peaceful! The last stanza had too much to say and that too very softly and it comes straight from the heart.Smile:) Chitra

Nice way to wake up. I loved it. The rhyming works so wonderfully and doesn't seem force at all...it all flowed well.
