Awake Little Raindrops
Awake little drops at the break of day,
Fill the streams and rivers that are in your way.
Sprinkle the flowers and the green grass far and wide,
Oh beautiful you are as you dance from side to side.
Oh raindrops , here on my window pane,
Stretch your arms over every street and lane.
Fill the potholes as I watch them overflow,
Shout to the birds and seeds as they begin to grow.
Lovely raindrops you are such a beautiful sight,
Pit, patter on the rooftop as I lay awake tonight.
Waiting for the earth and trees to meet in mid air,
Awake little raindrops and spread joy everywhere.
