Notes About The Poem

Inspired by a vision that came to me during a sound-healing meditation session.  It was too good not to write about!

Awake

Heart-shaped crystal, hanging
On a rusty, dripping chain
Bright white light is shining
Like a spectrum once again

Twisting, turning faster
All the colors clash
The crystal falls into a pool of water with a splash

Its solid casing melted
Light and power gleaming out
Long lost heart repented
Remembering what love's about
