Awake

Here I am again at twelve after two
Lying in bed wondering what to do
I am so worn and tired,
My bedtime long transpired

Another night I spend
Awake in my bed
How can I achieve
Some kind of reprieve

It is my desire
To sleep when I retire
Instead I lie awake
It's getting hard to take

Unless I find the way
I will drag through the day
Exhausted from fatigue
Always there for me.

Insomnia better leave
So much I must achieve
I must find a way
Not to sleep all day

I am up right now Caleb, but only cause I have an appt. at the doc. Damn meds make me sleep during the day then awake all night cause the caffeine to wake me up hits late. It's a viscous cycle. Urg. I have been meaning to correct my error for days. I need an assistant. Lol.
