AWAKE
Why do I lay awake
As I listen to my heart break
With you and your angry stare
After I've laid my feelings bare
What else must I do
Just to prove to you
That my show of love
Was truly sent from above
To show there's no cause for alarm
And that I'll never bring you harm
Show I want you more than just in my bed
And to heal all the pain inside your head
To truly, honestly love you is my goal
With all of my mind, body, and soul
I hope you agree to be my girl
So I can give you the world
