Awaiting 'Till Dawn
Beside a small pond,
I admired a lotus under the moonlight;
The sleepy petals at night;
The solitude flower made my mind fond.
Fresh air was swaying;
Embraced myself in a night wintry cold
To await the petals unroll
With hope and persistence 'till dawning.
I’ve had a dream:
I became a small bird circled the flower,
Then drew clean water,
Fed droplets; the pretty lotus beamed.
Sunk in a foolish passion;
Pensive moment, in the nocturnal intent;
Sleepy in jolly event;
Her fragrance raised a strange emotion.
The dawn awakes me,
A freaky hand has picked the lotus away;
The chilly night, I’ve stayed
To encounter the consequence empty
