Avadhuta Gita Chapter 1 verse 61
“The whole universe shines undivided and
unbroken. Oh, the maya, the great delusion—
the imagination of duality and nonduality!”
Body-mind comes alive when breathed by God,
without which feeble form is inert dust
but we recognise this not, which is odd,
wasting the gift of life engaged in lust,
melding not with divine source, as we must.
Ceasing thinking, our head with heart linking,
attaining thus awareness unblinking,
we recognise that we are with God one,
toroidal heart with love and light inking,
ego dies and we shine like yonder sun.
Manifestation appears in space-time,
wherein we are bemused by illusion,
oblivious to God’s sublime bliss chime,
with silence alone ending confusion,
gently enabling head and heart fusion.
Within this lucid dream if we are still,
fully surrendering to God our will,
by this simple choice of just letting go,
love’s peace dove perches on soul’s window sill
and wisdom of sages we get to know.
