Avadhuta Gita Chapter1 verse 71

“The yogis consider duty in life, pursuit of wealth, enjoyment of love, liberation, and everything movable or immovable such as man and so on to be a mirage.”

Within life’s lucid dream, what do we seek,
when we know we are Self, not body-mind,
which we affirm since we’ve had a sneak peek
of our heart’s light and therefore we’re not blind
and so cravings of ego are declined,
that thus being in but not of the world,
we’re poised in peace, in our heart centre curled,
flowing gently just like the morning breeze,
wonder struck as flag of love is unfurled,
in staid stillness, mode embrace and release.
