Autumn's Arrival

Blue water tongues carve mountain sides
Pure singing into ocean tides

Rich ruby, amber, golden gems
Now carpet mother nature’s den

The living light that scraped the sky
Is cloaked in autumn’s cooling sigh

The beasts of warmth and chill alike
Prepare for winter’s bitter bite

Tick tocking towards a season’s death
Life shall renew in springtime breath

This is so wonderful. I can see the beautiful images of autumn already. The leaves are so pretty while changing colors. The rhyming couplets give a special spark to the poem. Great job! ~Joseph

I love this. It portrays the feeling off autumn so accurately!!! While reading this, I could almost smell the fall season ! (which is especially nice for how hot it is here for it being autumn)
