Autumn Leaf

           ~~~
        ~ ~~~~ 
      resplendent  
    in russet gold,  
   a little leaf glows  
  against the grey ~ 
  flamboyant in fall’s  
  grandiose  finale ~ 
 its  radiance rivals
   the sun’s retreat.
