Autumn Journey

Auburn and gold
A foggy morning
Rustling evergreens
Sun shining

Through the fog
A path of life
Split in a fork
Guiding light

Farther on I travel
Never looking back
Lesser traveled roads
Forgetting the past

A gentle breeze
Life giving air
Following the path
Heaven awaits there

Which road it will be
That I shall follow
A mystery unsolved
Until tomorrow

Lena, I see you were on and off this site for a while (as I was when my father was ill). You have so much talent; I hope you'll continue to share. Choosing the right path and never looking back is born of courage and wisdom! Thanks for reading "Unicorn." And welcome back! Carolyn
