September, November seasons refresh, trees change their colour to wear a new dress, Rub hands, mist in breath, colder evening walk, leaves rustling under feet, stroll in the park! oil wicks lighting up, every home and door, little lamps on windows, add to decor, late shops, busy crowds, fill Indian streets, fire works, new clothes buy Diwali* sweets! More lights are lit, in other parts of world, Thailand and Japan, fly lamps red and gold, Lighted carved pumpkins in England are seen, Beautiful Autumn! night of Halloween! * Diwali= Indian festival of light in October Autumn or fall poetry contest 12 lines rhyme Tania Kitchin written 10 September 2020
