Autumn
Haiku/Tanka/Haiku for Linda-Marie's contest.
Autumn has arrived
the gentle years are calling
love, life at harvest.
Friends like old armchairs
come to coffee the morning
glide in the porch swing
and we reminisce for hours;
pastel roses without thorns.
Come with me my love,
take my hand; we'll go walking
west, into the sun.
