Autumn

Rivers dream by summer's end
first spongy mists swallow the valleys
leaves show their colour beauty

Fall is such a colorful time of the year. God's painting upon the landscape. And your poem captures the essence of autumn's delight. This is a very nice haiku, Gert. Lovingly, Dane Ann

Hi Gert Oh so beautiful! I love the thought of rivers dreaming. I could wrap myself up in that thought. Thanks so much for your comment and reading through my poetry. Bless your heart. I've made a new friend here, how about that! You-ve motivated me to start on #80. I had 40 additional lyrics too but took them off feeling like lyrics poetry don't really mix for various reasons. Take care Blessings to you and yours. Love Light Truth Patricia

I love the descriptiveness in this one. I can just see that river and the spongy mist. Keep writing. Sara
