Authentic

Shackled from my destiny
a cheap copy of originality
Crumbled pieces of a masterpiece
Thoughts enslaved to poverty

Anxiously waiting
Struggling and anticipating
To meet the authentic, me

My misery
Does not limit me
From my true Identity

The very thing that is wrong with me
Thrusts out what’s right with me

I denounce the lie
That guided my life
My destiny
is my true authenticity
