Austin Phrasis Quintet 4 Recited
PHRASIS 11
Imagination not mere fancy
transfigure the real,actual
and ideal with lyric of two
idyllic,melodious sweet and
sonorous.Mental indolence
clouded,enshrouded in obscurity
careless,even slovenly on the
sliding scale of inspiration in
musical verbiage.Perception,
vague at first becomes sentiment
,more definite,as thought or
reflection hazy in its inception
as we perceive and feel and
think within the boundaries of
personal taste and idiosyncrasy
in this fruitful field.A lift in the lyrical
noticeable in the ear.
From Alfred Austin- The Bridling of Pegasus
Listen to me recite this phrasis on youtube under my pen name ichthyschiro
