An interesting take on that picture, Sandra. Unlike others I've read, the emphasis on this one seems to be the windmill rather than the rooster. I do like that expression: "windmill whispers". ... easy to imagine that gentle "whooshing" sound as I read it. Best of luck.

You have to admire the rooster crowing, acting like he owns the world. There is one that wakes my daughter and family at 4 am each morning which is unappreciated. But they do love living in the country. I loved your beautiful haiku Sandra. xxoo
