August Midnight

The ceiling fan swirls
clockwise with the heat,
sings to me of distant sleep.

I love this Haiku. Sounds like some of the times in my life when there wasn't even a fan. And some nights there wasn't any sleep. There was just heat and we prayed for the rain to bring the refreshing cool. Sara
