Au Revoir

i fought the time away
knowing it's not like it was
i am broken by what you would say
you should know it always does

i almost had you here
i waited time and time again
you're now something i fear
you're my greatest sin

i fell apart because of you
you destroyed whats inside
i hate it's the only thing i have to do
your feelings have shyed

im saying goodbye one more time
there's no turning back now
so this is your farwell rhyme
im sorry i never knew how

This poem is wonderful, Becca. Relationships are very difficult sometimes. And letting go is never easy. Your poem is so well written. It feels somehow lonely. Very good writing here. (Did I tell you, before that I have a daughter named Rebecca Lynn spelled exactly the same way. If this is my Becca, I love you LOTS.) Lovingly, Dane Ann

Hey Rebecca, you have something really good here and I believe it's about abuse? If it is I hope you're serious about 'sayng goodbye'! -you maybe did this in a hurry but you can always edit it. It could be very very good! Peace and love, Audrey

Honestly, it needs a little re-writing but I think you've chosen a good subject for a rant and this is definitely a rant.
