Attraction

Eyes have stared since mine had chosen to see Yet his make me feel things I never wanted to feel Words have flew past never heard in rhythm and stead Yet his strike right into the heart made from the lead I was light on feet, an air not captured in words Few could seek me and fewer could hurt Yet his careless dismissal of the winds that ruled Was taunt at skill, a petty ridicule Attention was easy to hold and easier to shatter Until he walked past, it didn’t really matter I was pulled from the throne I put years to built The stage of mine now had a prominent tilt Yet no anger I could bring while I saw his face So I let him stay, make his own place Within the walls that had let no one in Well, I can’t wait for this chapter to begin.
