Attacking Our Future
It's not funny anymore
My heart is hurting to the core
Seeing how this worlds a mess
Causing me a lot of stress
My soul aches and hurts a lot
When did others lose the part
Of their kindness that used to show
And the love that always flowed
From the inside to others in need
Now it's all just foolish greed
Making any loving fade
When did we decide to trade
Compassion for evil acts
This world is under attack
As we are losing the war
The battles we have in store
Are gonna be tough to defeat
If we keep looping on repeat
The mistakes we won't stop making
Leaving fragile humans breaking
Hatreds getting us nowhere
Leading to our biggest fear
We will not ever recover
Falling fast as we discover
All the wrong we're leaking in
Will destroy us faster than
We can stop it lets not wait
Or ist's gonna be too late
