Atmospheric Pressure
Atmospheric Pressure is a phrase to contemplate
Two words when put together control our planet's fate
Which is more important and for which should we take care
Either word when said alone makes this, our planet, rare
Pressure, if high or low, causes things to move - or not -
We call it "weather" or "storms" and deal with it - a lot -
Ah, but Atmoshere tells whether all things live or die
The oxygen we breathe defines what we are - even why
Both are thus required to make this green planet our home
And then we thank "gravity" for this pressurized dome
So when we see the beauty of a soft starry night
We recall "Goldilocks" when all things came out just right
