Athletes Make Too Much Money
He can throw a perfect curve ball.
He can bench more than you all.
He ran a 4.0 in the 40 yard dash.
So lets show them the cash.
They are very talented athletes,
and they do fill the arena's seats.
But some can't read or even pass the 5th grade.
And do you know how much some get paid?
People call him the king,
even though he has no championship ring.
LeBron make a quarter million dollars a game.
Most don't make that in 6 years, now that's a shame.
Here is a real shocker.
Manchester vs Manchester United playing soccer.
The 22 men playing on the field
together made over a $900 million yield.
But now here are the real goods.
The highest paid athlete is Tiger Woods.
In one year he makes $110 million for hitting a ball in a hole.
With that much money, I'm not sure if he still has a soul.
Now it was a little hard to find,
but here is the total of all athletes combined.
They will make over $5 billion dollars in the next 4 years.
Now is all that money worth our cheers?
It took me an hour to come up with this rhyme,
and guess what happened in that amount of time.
Kobe Bryant made over $90 thousand in just that hour.
That leaves a bad taste in my mouth, pretty sour.
