At What Price
What shall a man profit if he gains the world?
And the desires of his heart he gets to behold.
Would one see this as a fair trade?
If in the process he loses his soul.
Could a price be placed on such a unique gift?
That came from the Lord himself.
Why would a man make such an ignorant choice?
When in the end he shall have nothing left.
The glamour of this world may cloud ones judgment
But should it come at the price of their soul.
Your soul may seem worthless while you’re alive.
But in the end you will find it is worth more than gold.
The treasures of this world may seem very tempting.
But where shall they get you in the end.
Yes, you may get all the fame and glory you desire.
But they have led to the folly of many men.
We should take each victory a day at a time
Due to all God has blessed us with.
But the choices of man will not yet be sublime.
Until we know God’s wrath is not a myth.
