At the Corner of Madness

I've come to be taken to the corner of madness
where the sun and the moon share time
I drank myself sober in the pub last night
and it wasn't a small hill to climb
I share these thoughts
while my head is clear
for I know too soon
they'll be washed with beer
and the night time approaches
I can hear the pub call
as the daylight stumbles
the night time does fall
