At Slumber's Border

adrift in the blurred border of hypnotic slumber, forgetting, remembering, dozing off and away, then, just like one jolted up from a dream, or a diver gasping hard, surging up and out of a stream, he groggily fumbles about his bed worried, but with her warmth across his chest, he smiles, sighs, eternally grateful to high heavens for this true treasure he has been so undeservedly blessed to keep !
