At Random

'Twas at a random house on a random street at a random party that we did meet Our random talk in a random room led to a random stroll by the light of the moon The random gleam in both our eyes stemmed from a kiss that was our prize That random kiss, so very soon ~ led to a random wedding and honeymoon

POTD - Ole! Well, I'll accept the honor from you, as I haven't gotten a POTD from the PS people for ages. Thanks, David!!

Well I would not say the wedding was random. But everything up to that point could be. Cute one, Gordy.

such a romantic couplet. I loved it!! Randomness (or perhaps sheer coincidence) brought hubby and I together in the most unlikely of places. Singles square dance lessons. He was there supporting his mom--didn't really want to go. I was there by happenstance. Saw the sign about lessons and thought, "oh, why not." The rest is history. Enjoyed your poem. Have a pleasant Sunday, dear Gershon!

Square dancing was always up my alley, unlike most dancing ~ Caballero Gersho

Such a very sweet story. a kiss tells all and the puppy dog looks work. Yours led to marriage and happy ever after. So did mine with Elias, only we each got married to someone, else both unhappy, both divorced, it took 25 years for me to get the phone call of my life. Got engaged 1 month later and married 6 months later, on the 10th December 2000. Fate plays a big part, your random places and our one year of going out in our early twenties led to living happily ever after in Johannesburg. South Africa. Hugs and blessings, Jenn.
