At Poetrysoup

At PoetrySoup
Paupers sup soup
At the same table with
the princes of the group
Whose poorly written poems
Mingle with great poems
Through which no one combs
To separate great poems
From poems like my poems
Although I do comb
Through poems, on page ‘Home’
Seeking out poems
On par with my poems
So I’ll feel more at home
But find mostly tomes
Of excellent poems.

Silent One October 30, 2019 at 11:15 AM I remember this one.. nice to see you posting... poetry means different things to different people... it is subjective.. some we like, some we dont..
