At Night He Became a She Wolf
He followed his she-wolf self within the owl’s den.
Leaving his tiger self in the brightness of the day.
Her owl totem shined a rainbow truth unseen in light
They would astral travel on this fearsome stream
She awoke to parrot’s voice. He is always persnickety.
Where is tiger? She asked, knowing the answer.
Tiger would be waking up a bit slower, being male.
The planets are aligning her soul thought.
Skeleton glimpses of herself showed clarity.
The candles of her birthday cake were dwindling.
It was time to choose – self or selflessness?
She shook out of her dreams and became the he that daylight she is.
During the day, many see him as male, arrogant and confident.
He consciously reserves his empathetic self for evening.
When he becomes the she wolf, howling her soul truth.
It is more than enough. He begins preparing breakfast.
